KIWANIS CLUB OF LAGUARDIA NAMES MARKETPLACE PRESIDENT 2007 HONOREE OF THE YEAR
Queens, NY (May 24, 2007) —
MarketPlace Development announced today that Company President Paul O. McGinn has been named the 2007 Honoree by the Kiwanis Club of LaGuardia Airport. McGinn was honored at the Kiwanis Club's 34th Annual Charity Ball, held on May 11 at the LaGuardia Marriott Hotel.
McGinn was honored at the black tie event for his contribution to the growth of LaGuardia's Central Terminal Building and to the air transportation industry. Via journal ads, Ball ticket sales and a silent auction held in conjunction with the annual fundraising Charity Ball, a total of $50,000 was raised for the Kiwanis Club. Proceeds will aid the Kiwanis Club's efforts to continue providing the children of the LaGuardia Queens area with community activities, including their annual Summer Camp Program, Fishing Trip for Terminally Ill Children, Scholarship Program, Holiday Food Basket Program and more.
